## The plant pot: the one with a hole in the bottom

The plant pot is the practical plastic or clay pot the plant is typically bought in. It has holes in the bottom so excess water can drain away and the roots don't drown. It's practical, but rarely very pretty — and that's exactly where the pot cover comes in.
